Westbrook Should Toughen Up and LeBron should, too.
Russell Westbrook has had his fair share of outbursts, but this one might top it all. After leaving Wednesday’s game vs. the 76ers with an injured ankle, a fan poured popcorn on Westbrook’s head. This caused an angry response from Russ, who was restrained by 6 security members and escorted to the locker room.
“This shit is getting out of hand, especially for me. The amount of disrespect, the amount of fans just doing whatever the f— they want to do. It’s out of pocket.” –Westbrook, postgame
So far so fair, right? Fan shouldn’t have done that, Westbrook has a fair point. Here is where the problem comes; LeBron James’ Twitter:

Yes, LeBron actually said that. He is suggesting that because of this fan’s actions, everyone should be able to see their face. That the league and their players, who sign up to play on national television and get payed millions, have the right to see an unwilling and random civilian who is now banned from the arena.
The situation is solved and here comes LeBron trying to escalate it more. We all know why he wants to see the fan, and see their face, and their skin color. We all know why LeBron is so adamant on releasing this individual’s identity; to cause more trouble than needed and further push politics into sports. Smh.
